hmm, i tend not to have a break up song, cause i love my music way to much to associate bad memories with it, specially break ups. however, when i have broken up with someone, i usually find myself listening to music wich i don't normally listen to....not sure why, but i do. things like country, and i absolutely hate! country normally. lol

A break up song? What purpose does it serve? I don't think I've heard of such a thing. But I should have cheated? Oh, my. It's terrible to know that some people feel that way. Then how serious or worthless is a relationship? wow.

My last relationship, I ended up listening to Take a Bow by Rihanna. lol

Hmmm. not sure I have a favorite break-up song. But some of the ones I've listened to are things like:
Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough, by Patti Smithe and Don Henley
Didn't I, by Rachel Proctor
before He Cheats, by carrie Underwood
Leave the Pieces, by the Wreckers (better known as Michelle Branch, when she went country)

Hmmm, breakup songs? LOL It's been a long while since i've needed one of those! :) Let's see. Bye Bye, by N Sync, Leave the pieces, The wreckers, Starts With Goodbye, Carrie Underwood, Hmmm, can't really remember much more than that. They are still great songs, but thank god, I won't need breakup songs anymore! Yay!

One of my favorites is probably by Bawny Rate, I Can't Make You Love Me. I can't think of any others at the moment.

I cant make you love me is a really good one! *wonders why you guys didn't post these on the love song board.
Lets see, as for breakup songs:
I Will Survive: Gloria Gainer
It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday: Boys 2 Men
Lol dont know if that's really a breakup song but it is very meaningful!
When can I see you again: Babyface
I Will Survive: Enrique Iglesias
Cuando Habras Los Ojos (When you open your eyes): K-Zike De La Sierra
Cheater Cheater: Joey and Rorry
I'll think of some more!

I think Always Be My Baby by Mariah Carey is also a good one, if you really care about your x.
